I had recently purchased a set of the Henckels International Classic knives. Since this storage block says it is for the International series, it was a no-brainer. The block takes care of all the knives in my set, eight, plus the sharpening tool and shears. A place for everything and everything in its place.

The sharpest knives now all rest safely in the storage holder I purchased on Amazon. It's a beautiful woodblock by Henckels and those dangerous knives are easy to reach on the counter.

I was a little concerned about this at first because there are no dimensions listed, and I wasn't sure if my Mundial 5100 Series 10-Inch Chef's Knife, Black would fit. Happy to say that it does, though only in the topmost slot. In the next one down, it just slightly touches the counter (the slots are open at the bottom).
